A death doula provides compassionate support and guidance during the end-of-life process, offering both emotional and practical assistance to the dying person and their family. They help create a peaceful environment, facilitate important conversations around care preferences, and assist with planning and coordination to ensure that the person’s wishes are respected. Additionally, a death doula offers continuing support after death, helping families through the early stages of grieving.
